Prof. Emmanuel MOULIN
Université Polytechnique Hauts de France

Emmanuel Moulin is a Professor at INSA Hauts-de-France, which is part of the Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France (UPHF), and conducts his research at the Institut d’Électronique, de Microélectronique et de Nanotechnologies laboratory (IEMN, UMR CNRS 8520). His research is in the field of physical acoustics, focusing on guided elastic wave propagation, ambient noise correlation, and coda wave processing for Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) applications. The primary goal of his work is to contribute to the development of low-intrusive, low-power sensors capable of detecting structural damage and/or characterizing corrosion or biological deposits online. He has led and participated in several research projects. He was the leader of the ANR-funded PANSCAN project (2018-2022) on ambient noise processing for damage detection in structures and the ANR PASNI project (2012-2016). He has been a partner in several international projects, including the European Interreg SOCORRO project (2019-2023) and European FP7 ALAMSA. He is the co-author of over 70 publications, including 43 articles in international peer-reviewed journals.

Dr Arnaud RECOQUILLAY
CEA LIST

Arnaud Recoquillay earned his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Paris-Saclay in 2018. Since then, he has been conducting research on guided waves Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) at CEA List. His primary research focuses on developing robust guided wave imaging techniques that withstand various environmental and operational conditions, as well as exploring innovative methods involving optical fiber sensors. Additionally, he plays a crucial role in simulation efforts, coordinating the development of the SHM module for the CIVA platform.
